The cowboy hat –few items in history have elevated as simple a task as keeping one’s head out of the elements to the level of iconic status as achieved by the cowboy hat. Every hat holds a story and the experiences of the owner shows through with little explanation. This “hands on” tour will take you though each step of sizing a head, shaping and measuring the beaver felt into a first rated hat. This locally owned and operated hat shop has supplied hats all over the world including presidents and movie stars. There are plenty of hats to try on for that photo moment.
Then we travel to the “Brewery District” where six Micro-breweries and two distilleries thrive within five blocks of each other. Nobody knows why all the spirits located in such close proximity but it certainly is serendipitous for craft brews fans.
